Notice

We are operating as normal. Sunday School 9.30am and Services at 10:30am & 6pm

Orthodox

We are steadfastly committed to the correct teaching and doctrine of the divinely inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word from God – the only rule of faith and godliness

Reformed

This defines our system of doctrine as it has been inherited from the great, historic Reformation. Our doctrines are summarized by the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. What is Reformed? »

Covenantal

We hold a Covenantal perspective of scripture. This perspective determines how we read and hear God’s Word. We are not distant from it but we are made participants in the drama of the Bible. Read More »

We teach the authority of Scripture Alone which testify that Christ Alone atoned for our sins by His Grace Alone to give us eternal life through Faith Alone that we may give Glory to God Alone. Ephesians 2:8-9

Welcome Visitors

Coeur d’Alene City And Beyond

Located just across from the Riverstone district, we’re meeting each Sunday at the Lake City Senior Center. As our young OPC church plant slowly takes root, we have members and guests visiting from across several counties

  • Post Falls, Rathdrum, Athol, Sagle, Sandpoint
  • Kootenai County, Bonners County, Shoshone County
  • Spokane, Liberty Lake, Washington

Holding To The
Westminster Standards

When the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America was formed in 1788, it adopted (with minor revisions) the Westminster Confession of Faith, Larger and Shorter Catechisms (1647), as its secondary standards (the Bible itself being the only infallible rule of faith and practice).

Officers in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church take a vow to “sincerely receive and adopt” these confessional documents “as containing the system of doctrine taught in the Holy Scriptures.”

  • Westminster Confession of Faith

The Westminster Confession of Faith is a Reformed confession of faith. Drawn up by the 1646 Westminster Assembly as part of the Westminster Standards.

  • The Larger Catechism

The Larger Catechism is a central document of the Reformed faith. The Larger being a more detailed and comprehensive catechism.
